A wine merging Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), Shiraz (40%) Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (8%) from grapes grown in the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee, and the Jerusalem Hills. This wine’s varieties give it its full, impressive and powerful body.
The wine aged For 22 months in oak barrels, and is characterized by plum, coffee and black pepper tones. This wine is distinctly elegant and complex with a long finish, and a long aging life.
Fermentation with the skins for two weeks at relatively low fermentation temperatures.
The punching down and pumping over methods were used every four hours for maximum flavor and color extraction.
This was followed by malolectic fermentation in French oak barrels and 22 months of aging in new barrels.
