Made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc grapes and 20% Semillon grapes. The Sauvignon Blanc grows in the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee regions, and the Semillon comes from the hills of Jerusalem. Merging grapes from two different growing regions allows flexible harvesting, and produces diverse tastes. This is a sharp, slightly acidic and herbaceous wine, with aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. The Sauvignon Blanc brings with it a touch of tropics and vegetation, while the Semillon adds complexity and depth. This wine enjoys a clear fresh character, with hints of green apple.
MATAR WHITES | 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes grown in the Nana Vineyard in Mitzpeh Ramon, on Loess silt with small amounts of clay and sand. This soil is homogenous and porous, and found near the edge of the Ramon Crater. The temperature range and wilderness dryness produce a long maturation period, which reinforces the quality taste of this variety. Delicate wine, rich in aromas and palate, with tones of citrus, apricot and butter, and a clear, refreshing finish.

Made from 100% from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Haruach Vineyard, Merom golan, Upper Galilee and Jerusalem Hills. The wine is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. This is an elegant wine, with lemon, jasmine and honey tones. a full body, refreshing acidity and a long finish.

Made from 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Grapes were harvested in the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee and the Jerusalem Hills.The wine Aged for 14 months in oak barrels, this wine is characterized by a minty tone, with black-currant (Cassis) and blackberry to produce an elegant, impressive wine.

A wine merging Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), Shiraz (40%) Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (8%) from grapes grown in the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee, and the Jerusalem Hills. This wine’s varieties give it its full, impressive and powerful body.
The wine aged For 22 months in oak barrels, and is characterized by plum, coffee and black pepper tones. This wine is distinctly elegant and complex with a long finish, and a long aging life.
