Pelter Series | 2017 Cabernet Shiraz
Made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Shiraz grapes, grown and manually harvested in the Golan Heights and the Upper Galilee.
The wine aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
Characterized by aromas of pomegranate, cherry and respberries. An elegant and balanced wine, mid-full body and a long finish.
The grapes were macerated for two weeks at a relatively low temperature and punched down every four hours for maximum extraction. This was followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
The wine was barrel-aged for 20 months. A third of the wine was aged in new barrels, and 5% in American oak barrels.

Made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc grown and manually harvested in the Upper Galilee and in the Golan Heights. The wine aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. The wine is characterized by red and black fruit, pecan and a light spice. A rich and full wine.
