MATAR WHITES | 2016 Chenin Blanc
Made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes grown in the Nana Vineyard in Mitzpeh Ramon, on Loess silt with small amounts of clay and sand. This soil is homogenous and porous, and found near the edge of the Ramon Crater. The temperature range and wilderness dryness produce a long maturation period, which reinforces the quality taste of this variety. Delicate wine, rich in aromas and palate, with tones of citrus, apricot and butter, and a clear, refreshing finish.
One third of the Chenin Blanc wine is aged in wood barrels for three months. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation and will continue to age in the bottle for several years.

Made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc grapes and 20% Semillon grapes. The Sauvignon Blanc grows in the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee regions, and the Semillon comes from the hills of Jerusalem. Merging grapes from two different growing regions allows flexible harvesting, and produces diverse tastes. This is a sharp, slightly acidic and herbaceous wine, with aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. The Sauvignon Blanc brings with it a touch of tropics and vegetation, while the Semillon adds complexity and depth. This wine enjoys a clear fresh character, with hints of green apple.

Made from 100% from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Haruach Vineyard, Merom golan, Upper Galilee and Jerusalem Hills. The wine is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. This is an elegant wine, with lemon, jasmine and honey tones. a full body, refreshing acidity and a long finish.
MATAR WHITES | 2016 Chardonnay
The wine is made mainly from Grenache grapes and a small amount of Zinfandel and Tempranillo.
The grapes were grown and manually harvested from vineyards in the Golan Heights and in the Jerusalem Hills.
This light-bodied wine is characterized by watermelon and red grapefruit flavors. crisp and fresh.
