| 2017 Stratus

Made from 100% Shiraz grapes  grown in the Upper Galilee, this wine aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.  It is characterized by aromas and flavors of cocoa, ripe berries and spice.The wine is full bodied with a long, powerful and full finish.

Manufacturing

The grapes were macerated for two weeks at a relatively low temperature. then punched down and pump over every four hours for maximum extraction. This was followed by malolectic fermentation in French oak barrels.

A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Grapes were harvested in the Upper Galilee and the Jerusalem Hills. The wine aged for 14 months in french oak barrels.

This wine is elegant and impressive, characterized by black-currant, green pepper and spice.
